Jazz done differently

It all began with an idea to activate the Perth Concert Hall as a venue for jazz in Western Australia. It transformed into a vision to enrich and expand jazz in Western Australia, and establish an ensemble that builds upon the rich legacy of jazz in our state – a flagship for excellence in jazz music in Western Australia.

The Western Australian Jazz Project would like to acknowledge the Whadjuk Noongar people as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we work. We honour their leaders past, present, and emerging and thank them for their culture that they openly share with us. It is our honour and privilege to stand in Whadjuk land.
